al-Muttali' Sharh Isaghuji ma'a Hashiyat al-Shihab al-Qalyubi

A valuable and authoritative commentary in which the author, Shaykh al-Islam Zakariya al-Ansari explains the wording of the original text (Isagoji), clarifies its intended meanings, resolves its difficult passages, and qualifies its general statements in a clear and elegant manner. The editor has based this edition on a number of valuable manuscript copies written in the hands of leading scholars.

To enhance the benefit of this edition, it also includes al-Durrah al-Bahiyyah ʿalā Sharḥ al-Muqaddimah al-Īsāghūjiyyah, a useful gloss on al-Maṭlaʿ by the distinguished Imām Shihāb al-Dīn al-Qalyūbī. In this gloss, al-Qalyūbī clarifies obscure passages, qualifies unrestricted statements, explains difficult expressions, and identifies the intended referents of ambiguous pronouns.

وإتماماً للفائدة: تم إضافة «الدرة البهية على شرح المقدمة الإيساغوجية»، وهي حاشية مفيدة نافعة على «المطلع» للإمام المُتفنِّن شهاب الدين القليوبي، وقد قام فيها الإمام القليوبي بإيضاح المبهمات، وتقييد المطلقات، وشرح العبارات الغامضات، وإرجاع الضمائر المهمات.
