A-   Domestic Shipping

We offer delivery to your door using various reputable couriers like The Courier Guy, Fastway, Internet Express, Skynet etc.

We also offer locker to locker delivery using The Courier Guy/Pudo.

Delivery to the door starts at R80, while locker delivery starts at R60.

The final cost is dependent on the weight and dimensions of the package.

Certain areas are classified as regional or high-risk areas by the couriers, thus deliveries to them would attract a surcharge.

Please note that the amount quoted for shipping includes packaging, handling and other costs.

We attempt to dispatch orders within 24-48 hours.

Delivery to KZN and Gauteng generally takes 1-2 days, while to other provinces it generally takes 2-4 days.

B-   International Shipping

It should be noted that international shipping from South Africa is costly, thus we advise those overseas to try to source books from bookstores in their countries.

We offer the following international shipping options:

  • Economy (UPS Ground)
    Destinations:     USA only (we hope to add the EU soon).
    Features: Extremely affordable all-inclusive option, includes duties and taxes.
    Description: The books are shipped to an airfreight company in Cape Town, then loaded on a weekly flight to New York. Once they clear customs, they are handed over to UPS Ground for delivery to your door.
    Transit Time: 10-14 business days, which is around 2-3 weeks.

  • Door to Door Courier:
    Destinations: Worldwide
    Features: Fast International Courier. All-inclusive, includes duties and taxes
    Description: Shipped via Fedex or UPS directly to your door
    Transit Time: 5-10 business days, which is 1-2 weeks.

For larger shipments, to offer these services as well

  •  Air Freight: Suitable for larger shipments (100kg-300kg). Shipped to the nearest international airport, the customer has to arrange clearing and delivery. We can help in arranging for the clearing and delivery; however, all storage, customs and other charges are solely the customer’s responsibility. Contact us if you wish to use this option.
  •           Sea Freight: Suitable for very large shipments (300kg plus). Shipped to the nearest port, the customer has to arrange clearing and delivery. We can help in arranging for the clearing and delivery; however, all storage, customs and other charges are solely the customer’s responsibility. Contact us if you wish to use this option.
