Nabi Allah Salih Alayhi al-Salam wa Asbab Zawal Hadarat Qawm Thamud

The book identifies the foundations of the call of the Prophet Ṣāliḥ عليه السلام and the essential principles of the creed to which he called his people, Thamūd. He reminded them of Allah, but they turned away, and thus the punishment became inevitable for them.

Through the various discussions presented, the book examines the origins of Thamūd, their dwellings, what they worshipped, and how they confronted their Prophet Ṣāliḥ with violence and rejection. He nevertheless remained patient in conveying the revelation of Allah and calling a people who had strayed far from the path of righteousness to the manifest truth.

The statements of Qur’anic exegetes and leading historians play a major role in establishing the foundations of calling to Allah, the conditions for conveying His message, and reliance upon Allah alone, so that the good word may reach every ear.

The spirit of in-depth investigation and comprehensive study casts its shadow over the general methodology of the work. This is evident in its treatment of the severe punishment that Allah Almighty inflicted upon the people of Thamūd—a punishment that eradicated them because they had turned away from the guidance of the straight path.

يُحدِّد الكتابُ أسس دعوة النبي صالح عليه السلام، ومقوّمات العقيدة التي دعا إليها قومه ثمود، وذكَّرهم بالله، لكنه أعرضوا، فحقَّ عليهم العذاب.ومن خلال المباحث المعروضة كان الحديث عن أصل ثمود، وسُكْناهم، وما يعبدون، وكيف واجهوا نبيَّهم صالحاً بالعنف والصَّد، لكنه صبر ليبلِّغ وحي اللَّه، ويدعو قوماً اشتدَّ نأيهم عن جادة الصواب إلى الحق المبين.وكان لأقوال المفسِّرين وجهابذة التاريخ الدور الأكبر في تحديد مرتكزات الدعوة إلى اللَّه، وشروط تبليغها، والاعتماد على اللَّه وحده؛ لتصل الكلمة الطيبة إلى كل سَمْع.إنَّ أطياف التعمق والاستقراء أرختْ بظلالها على المنهج العام، وبدا ذلك في إنزال اللَّه عز وجل العقوبة الصارمة بقوم ثمود، تلك العقوبة التي استأصلت شأفتهم، لأنهم أعرضوا عن هدي النهج المستقيم
