Uthman ibn Affan: Shakhsiyyatuhu wa Asruhu

This book is a continuation of the biographies of the Rightly Guided Caliphs who preceded him. It discusses the Rightly Guided Caliph ʿUthmān, may Allah be pleased with him, covering his life from his upbringing and his marriage to Sayyidah Ruqayyah, may Allah be pleased with her, to his migration to Abyssinia, his close companionship with the Prophet ﷺ, and the most important aspects of his life, particularly his pledge of allegiance as Caliph.

The author then discusses various aspects of his policies, mentioning nineteen of his qualities, together with incidents demonstrating his leadership and noble character.

Finally, the book examines the fitnah and its causes, which culminated in his martyrdom, together with a study of all the circumstances surrounding these events.
