قال الشيخ المقرئ العلامة أبو الحسن محيي الدين الكردي رحمه الله ورضي الله عنه في تقديمه لكتاب الدقائق المحكمة:قد اطلعت على هذا الشرح المبارك وعلى هذا التحقيق الجيد لهذا الشرح العظيم من شروح الجزرية الذي يعد من أفضل وأرق شروحها. وطالما اعتنى مشايخنا رحمهم الله تعالى بهذا الشرح، وطالما أوصينا ونوصي طلاب هذا العلم -علم التجويد- أن تكون لهم عناية خاصة واهتمام بالغ بهذا الشرح بالذات؛ لما له من أهمية كبيرة في هذا الفن، حيث ضمَّن الشيخ زكريا رحمه الله تعالى من خلال عبارات مختصرة جامعة دقائق هذا العلم، فأعطى رحمه الله هذه الجزرية حقَّها من الشرح اللائق بها.وهذا الشرح على اختصاره يحتاج إلى دقة حتى يوصل إلى فهمه وإيضاحه.فجزى الله الشيخ (محمد غياث الصباغ) خيراً، حيث قام بتوضيح الكثير من دقائق هذا الشرح لتكون سهلة يسيرة بين طلاب هذا العلم.

The eminent Qur'an reciter, Shaykh Abū al-Ḥasan Muḥyī al-Dīn al-Kurdī—may Allah have mercy on him and be pleased with him—wrote in his foreword to Al-Daqāʾiq al-Muḥkamah:

"I have examined this blessed commentary and the excellent critical edition of this great commentary on Al-Jazariyyah, which is regarded as one of the finest and most elegant commentaries written upon it.

Our teachers—may Allah have mercy on them—gave this commentary particular attention, and we have long advised, and continue to advise, students of this science—the science of tajwīd—to devote special care and close study to this commentary in particular because of its great importance in this field. In concise yet comprehensive expressions, Shaykh Zakariyyā—may Allah have mercy on him—captured the subtle details of this science, thereby giving Al-Jazariyyah the commentary it truly deserves.

Despite its brevity, this commentary requires careful explanation in order for its meanings to be properly understood and clarified.
