al-Sifat wa-al-Khasa'is allati Abrazat al-Imam al-Mujahid Yusuf ibn Tashfin al-Murabiti

A concise historical and biographical study devoted to Yūsuf ibn Tāshfīn (d. 500 AH), the celebrated Almoravid ruler, concentrating specifically on the qualities and characteristics that distinguished him as a ruler, military leader and mujāhid.

Rather than presenting a complete chronological biography, the author seeks to identify the personal and leadership qualities that lay behind Ibn Tāshfīn’s achievements.
