This is the second book on the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphate, dealing with ʿUmar, the Fārūq of Islam, may Allah be pleased with him, whose life inscribed luminous and radiant pages in the history of Islam through the justice, truthfulness, sincerity, jihād, calling to Allah, equality, and respect for freedoms that it embodied, to a degree unparalleled among the nations of the earth in the life of any of their great men.

The author studies his personality and his era through systematic presentation, documentation, and analysis, continuing until his final days, which concluded with his martyrdom. He highlights the political, military, administrative, and judicial aspects of this exceptional personality, as well as the developments he introduced, may Allah be pleased with him, in order to lay the foundations of a sound Muslim society.
