Miftah al-Falah wa Misbah al-Arwah fi Dhikr Allah al-Karim al-Fattah

This work explains that every form of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) has its own particular spiritual effect and benefit. The author presents the evidences from the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah for the legitimacy of gathering together for dhikr, discusses the permissibility of reciting dhikr aloud, warns against neglecting the remembrance of Allah, and emphasises the importance of sincerity, proper etiquette, and the general virtues of dhikr. He also examines the merits of specific forms of remembrance, including the Beautiful Names of Allah.

The book further outlines the spiritual progression of the seeker through different litanies of remembrance and the stages of the spiritual path, discusses the practice of spiritual retreat (khalwah), and concludes with chapters on tawḥīd and contemplation (tadabbur).
