Refund policy
A- Inspection upon Receipt
Upon receipt of a book, we strongly advise that you quickly page through every volume. While we endeavour to provide quality prints, errors do occasionally occur during printing, resulting in blank pages, upside-down pages, torn pages, smudged text etc. If you come across any major defect, please contact us immediately.
Please note that slight cosmetic defects are normal in Arabic books and are generally considered acceptable in the Arabic Book Printing World.
These include slight scuffs, scratches, slightly-faded text on a few pages and minor knocks on the corners of books.
Similarly, when pages are cut by machine, sometimes a few pages don’t get cut correctly, leaving a small bit folded into the book. This can be neatly cut with a scissors and is considered acceptable.
B- Returns
- If you receive a book with major defects or a book other than the one ordered, we will replace or refund within 30 days.
- If you receive a book with slight cosmetic defect, then you are free to return the book at your expense within 30 days. We will refund you, less the delivery cost.
- If you receive a book in perfect condition, however you wish to return it for a refund, then we would accept this as long as we receive the book within 14 days in perfect condition.
Notwithstanding the above, please note that we are a very customer-focused bookstore and try our utmost to ensure that our customers are satisfied with the books we supply. If you aren’t happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us and we would try to rectify the situation.
Unfortunately, we do have customers who try to abuse our flexible return and refund policy; thus, we have had to place these restrictions.
We had a customer who brought back a set of books 4 years later, claiming that he doesn’t require the book anymore, thus we should refund him!
C- Refunds
As soon as the book is received and inspected, we try to issue refunds.
EFT Refunds would normally be issued within 24 hours; however, refunds of card transactions take longer due to the policies of the payment processing company.
