A Brief Collection of Hanafi Proofs For Selected Pertinent Issues

A publication from Darul Hadith, this book was originally prepared under the guidance of Mawlana Abdullah Dhabelia of Darul Ulum Azaadville. He noticed that many laymen returning from Umrah and Hajj were complaining of being harassed by Salafis, who would insist that the Hanafi method of salah etc is incorrect.

A group of students, consisting of Mufti Muhammad Amin Cassim (Benoni), Mufti Muhammad Sharif Dalal (Lusaka) and myself worked on the book, gathering one proof for each mas’alah, with tashih of the hadith from a reliable muhaddith.

The book was printed in pocket-size, to that it could be easily carried around by those on Umrah. This was in 2001.

Mawlana Muhammad Abasoomar subsequently revised the book, removed some discussions and added others. Beneficial footnotes were also added.

The attached table of contents shows the various issues covered in the book, in a simple, easy to understand manner.
