Usus al-Bahth al-'Ilmi lil-Bahithin al-Sighar

A practical introductory guide to the principles and methods of scientific research, written especially for younger students. The book introduces the concept of research, the qualities of a researcher, sources of information, and the principal stages involved in preparing a research project.

It covers selecting and formulating a research problem, research objectives and hypotheses, questionnaires and interviews, experimental, descriptive and historical research methods, sampling, reviewing previous studies, basic statistical concepts, and methods of academic referencing.

Each section includes assessment activities, while the final part presents three research projects conducted by school students, providing practical examples of how the research methods taught in the book can be applied.
