This book entitled "The Science of The Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence" for Abdelwahab Khallaf is written with the intention to revive the principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and to shed light on its research areas.
As for its style, it is made asconcise and as clear as possible.
The book is divided into anintroduction and four parts:
The introduction: is an overall comparison between the science of Islamic jurisprudence and the science of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence.
The first part: is about the proofs from which juridical rulings are derived.
The second part: deals with the four research areas pertaining to the five Sharî'ah values (Ahkâm).
The third part: is devoted to the linguistic rules and criteria governing the language patterns of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
The fourth part: deals with the legislative rules which are applied in the extraction of juridical rulings from their sources and in the deduction of these rulings when no such sources exist.
Eventually, we implore Allah to welcome this book and to regard it as a pure act of devotion to Him. Praise to Allah, Lord of the universe.
