Contemporary Islamic history bears witness to the life of the renowned preacher Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Badrī, who confronted tyranny in its most severe forms and devoted his youth, intellect, and pen to the service of Islam. Undeterred by promises of reward or threats of persecution, Shaykh al-Badrī remained steadfast upon his path until he was imprisoned, refusing to compromise the truth.

This edition has been edited, annotated, and introduced by Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-ʿAwd.

روى البخاري عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله (ص): إنكم تحرصون على الإمارة و ستكون ندامة يوم القيامة - . يشهد التاريخ الاسلامي المعاصر لأمير المنابر الشيخ عبد العزيز البدري الذي صارع الطغيان في اعتى صوره و بذل للإسلام شبابَه وفكره وقلمه. لم يبالي الشيخ البدري باي ترغيب او ترهيب وتابع الطريق فسقط معتقلاً لكنه ابى ان يتنازل عن الحق. وقد حقق وعلق وقدم هذا الكتاب الشيخ صالح العود حفظه الله تعالى.
