Rabbaniyyah la Rahbaniyyah

This book presents a collection of analytical essays on fundamental concepts in Islam, focusing on the meanings and realities of īmān (faith) and iḥsān (spiritual excellence).

Rather than remaining confined to theoretical discussion, these essays draw upon the scholarly legacy of a number of distinguished and trusted Muslim scholars, including ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, Ibn Taymiyyah, Aḥmad Sirhindī, Sayyid Aḥmad Shahīd, and others whose lives, works, and tireless efforts left a lasting impact wherever they lived and travelled.

By linking these foundational Islamic concepts with practical reality, the book demonstrates how true God-consciousness is cultivated through active engagement with life, rather than through isolation or monasticism.

مقالاتٌ تحليلية حول مصطلحات أساسية في الإسلام, تتمحور في مفهومي الإيمان والإحسان, وحقيقة كلٍّ منهما.
ولم تكن هذه المقالات تجولُ في المجال النظري وحده, بل انطلقت من النهضة العلمية لطائفةٍ من العلماء الثقات, الذين كانت لهم مكانة متميزة, وما تزال, كعبد القادر الجيلاني, وابن تيمية, وأحمد السرهندي, والسيد أحمد الشهيد, وغيرهم, ممن تركوا بصمات واضحة عبر شخصياتهم, وأعمالهم, ونشاطهم الفعَّال أينما حلُّوا أو رحلوا.
وبذلك تتعاضد مفاهيم الإسلام مع الواقع العملي, لتنتج الربانية بعيداً عن الانعزال والرهبانية.
