لما كثر الخلاف واحتد النزاع بين الناس في هذا الزمن وتععدت أسبابه وقضاياه ، وتنادى الجميع بإقامة الحوار ، وعقدت لقاءات ومنتديات للجدال ولإدارة الخلاف وفض النزاع ، فعزم المؤلف على الكتابة في هذا الموضوع وفي دعم ثقافة الحار وإقامة الجدل على أصوله العلمية وربط التناظر بضوابطه الرصينة .

In response to the increasing disagreements and intensifying disputes among people in the present age, together with the growing number of their causes and issues, and as calls for dialogue have become widespread and numerous forums and gatherings have been established for debate, conflict management, and dispute resolution, the author set out to write on this subject. His aim is to promote a culture of dialogue, establish dialectical discussion upon its proper scholarly foundations, and relate formal debate to its well-established principles and guidelines.
