جدل الشريف واسمه غنية المسترشد ومنية الراشد

Jadal al-Sharif wa-Ismuhu Ghunyat al-Mustarshid wa-Munyat al-Rashid

يُعَدُّ كتاب «غنية المسترشد ومنية الراشد» المعروف بـ«جَدَل الشريف» للإمام أبي المحاسن شَرَف شاه المراغي (ت543هـ)، من أجَلّ ما صُنف في علم الجدل، إذ انتهج فيه مصنفه طريقة متفرِّدة في بيان قواعد هذا العلم.

وتتجلى أهميته في كونه يشكّل حلقة مهمة في تطوّر علم الجدل الأصولي في منتصف القرن السادس الهجري، امتدادًا لمن سبقه من فحول الأئمة في القرن الخامس، كابن فورك والجويني والشيرازي والباجي والغزالي وغيرهم، الذين كانت لهم مشاركات جليلة في تأسيس قواعد هذا العلم والنهوض بمناهجه على مستوى النظر والتطبيق في تلك الحقبة التي شهدت فيها العلوم الإسلامية نهضةً لم يسبق لها مثيل.

ومما يزيدنا تأكيدًا على أهمية الكتاب وأحقيته بالعناية أنه يعد عمدة الدرس الجدلي في وقته، حيث بقيت معاقد هذا العلم مؤسَّسة عليه مدة طويلة، فعكف عليه الطلاب حفظًا، واعتنى به العلماء تدريسًا وشرحًا، ليكون سبيلًا ممهِّدًا لتحقيق أصول النظر وملكة الجدل.وقد عُني بتحقيق هذا الكتاب وخدمته الباحث المُجِيد الأستاذ الحسين مهداوي، حفظه الله تعالى ووفقه إلى المزيد من العطاء.وهو مما يُنشَر لأول مرة

Ghunyat al-Mustarshid wa Munyat al-Rāshid, better known as Jadal al-Sharīf, by Imām Abū al-Maḥāsin Sharaf Shāh al-Marāghī (d. 543 AH), is one of the most distinguished classical works on the science of dialectics (jadal). In it, the author adopts a distinctive method for presenting the principles and rules of this discipline.

The work occupies an important place in the development of legal dialectics during the mid-sixth century AH, building upon the contributions of leading fifth-century scholars such as Ibn Fūrak, al-Juwaynī, al-Shīrāzī, al-Bājī, and al-Ghazālī, whose efforts laid the foundations of the discipline and advanced both its theoretical and practical application during one of the most intellectually vibrant periods of Islamic scholarship.

Recognised as a standard text in its time, the book remained a principal work for the study of dialectics for many generations. It was memorised by students, taught extensively by scholars, and became an essential means of developing sound reasoning and dialectical skill.

This edition has been critically edited and prepared by al-Ḥusayn Mahdāwī and marks the first publication of this important classical work.
