Usus al-Bahth al-'Ilmi lil-Bahithin al-Sighar

A practical introductory guide to the principles and methods of academic research, written especially for younger students. The book introduces the concept of research, the qualities of a researcher, sources of information, and the principal stages involved in preparing a research project.

It covers selecting and formulating a research problem, research objectives and hypotheses, questionnaires and interviews, experimental, descriptive and historical research methods, sampling, reviewing previous studies, basic statistical concepts, and methods of academic referencing.
