al-Rawd wa-al-Hada'iq fi Tahdhib Sirat Khayr al-Khala'iq

Al-Rawḍ wa-l-Ḥadāʾiq fī Tahdhīb Sīrat Khayr al-Khalāʾiq (الروض والحدائق في تهذيب سيرة خير الخلائق) is an extensive classical work on the Prophetic biography (sīrah) by the renowned Shāfiʿī scholar and Qurʾānic commentator ʿAlāʾ al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Baghdādī, known as al-Khāzin (d. 741 AH), author of the celebrated Tafsīr al-Khāzin.

It presents a comprehensive account of the life of the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, beginning with his birth and early life and proceeding through his mission, the major events of the sīrah, his battles and expeditions, the establishment of the Muslim community and state, and finally his death. It also discusses his distinctive characteristics and virtues (khaṣāʾiṣ), his Companions, and matters connected with his status in this world and the Hereafter.
