Abu Bakr al-Siddiq radiya Allahu 'anhu: Shakhsiyyatuhu wa-'Asruhu

The author has rewritten the biography of the first Rightly Guided Caliph, Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa-l-Jamāʿah. The life of al-Ṣiddīq was a radiant page of Islamic history, which surpassed all other histories in glory, sincerity, and calling to tawḥīd.

The book comprises four chapters that trace the life of al-Ṣiddīq in detail and the various fields of his activity, while discussing his virtues, qualities, caliphate, administration of internal and external affairs, his stance towards the apostates and Musaylimah the Liar, together with an overview of his conquests and his appointment of ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, may Allah be pleased with him, as his successor.

It is also noteworthy that, after presenting the various issues, activities, and conquests, the author gives particular attention to mentioning the lessons, reflections, and benefits to be derived from them. In this way, he provides clear points of benefit from which the reader may draw valuable and useful insights.

أعاد المؤلف كتابة سيرة الخليفة الراشد الأول أبي بكر الصديق من جديد، وفق منهج أهل السنة والجماعة، فكانت حياة الصديق صفحة مشرقة من التاريخ الإسلامي الذي فاق كل تاريخ، مجداً وإخلاصاً, ودعوة للتوحيد.احتوى الكتاب على أربعة فصول، رصدت حياة الصديق في ملامحها التفصيلية، وميادين أعماله، مع ذكر فضائله، وصفاته، وخلافته، وإدارته للشؤون الداخلية والخارجية، وموقفه من أهل الردة, ومن مسيلمة الكذاب،مع إطلالة على فتوحاته واستخلافه لعمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه.ومن الجدير بالملاحظة : اهتمام المؤلف بذكر الدروس والعبر والفوائد بعد عرضه للقضايا والأعمال والفتوحات، وبذلك يضع لمسات واضحة لفائدة القارئ، يستمد منها ما يغني ويفيد.
