من الاعجاز العلمي في السنة النبوية حديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم : " ان في الحبة السوداء شفاء من كل داء الا السام " وهي ما يطلق عليه البعض " حبة البركة "، وقد اهتم الاطباء قديما" وحديثا" بهذه الحبة وعددوا لها - تصديقا" للحديث - كيفية تركيبها في كثير من العلاجات، وقد حاول المؤلف جمع ما تفرق من الكلام عليها في الكتب القديمة والحديثة وقسم كتابه الى بابين

Among the scientific miracles of the Prophetic Sunnah is the saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Indeed, in the black seed there is a cure for every disease except death." This refers to what is also commonly known as ḥabbat al-barakah ("the blessed seed"). Both classical and modern physicians have devoted considerable attention to this seed and, in affirmation of the hadith, have described numerous ways of incorporating it into medicinal treatments.

The author has sought to gather the scattered discussions on this subject from both classical and modern sources, arranging the material into two main chapters.
