A Work on the Causes of the Destruction of Nations and Allah's Way with Criminal and Deviant People.

The author describes the books saying:

My method in this book is first to present the Qur'anic verses concerning the established laws (sunan) of Allah, the Exalted, relating

• to the affairs of His servants:
• His law concerning sins, their nature and their effects;
• His law regarding the sending of the Messengers and the wisdom behind it;
• His law of testing His servants with blessings and hardships in order to refine and nurture them;
• His law of gradually leading the wrongdoers and deviants on;
• His law concerning the affluent and the weak and their attitudes towards the call of the Messengers and their successors;
• His law of taking lessons from past nations and reflecting upon their condition;
• His law regarding the destruction of nations and generations when they transgress and persist in sin;
• His law concerning the various forms of punishment by which Allah destroys and chastises whomsoever He wills;
• and His law concerning His servants when punishment descends upon them.

When we have completed this important and beneficial introduction to the divine laws, we then proceed, secondly, to present some of the authentic Prophetic hadiths that I have found concerning the causes of destruction, together with an analysis and a simple explanation of them that can be understood by all classes of Muslims.

I ask Allah to make all of this sincerely for His Noble Countenance, and to benefit me and my Muslim brothers through it. Indeed, He is Most Generous, Most Bountiful.
