While Ibn Nujaym's al-Ashbah is taught is nearly all Dar al-Ifta's and there are dozens of shuruh and hawashi authored on it, there has never been a really good, detailed sharh on it available, one that explained all the difficult passages.

This huge highly-rated work by Allamah Ba'li is a mawsu'ah of furu' and for a mufti or student of ifta is probably one of the most important works printed recently.

To give an idea of the importance of this book, some time back a group of Muftis were divided on the ruling of a very important talaq mas'alah, for which nothing sarih seems to appear in any of our books.
The issue was resolved by a clear ibarah found in this book.

The editor, my dear friend Mawlana Usama Shaikh of Makkah Mukarramah spent years editing this using multiple manuscripts.

The publishers, Dar al-Lubab, have printed it in as a beautiful, high-quality edition.
