While there are many Tafasir to choose from, this should be somewhere near the top of the list for those looking for something comprehensive, yet not too detailed.

The author, Qadi Thana Ullah Panipatti (d. 1225 ah) was a master in the various funun, especially in Fiqh and Hadith, due to which Shah Abd al-Aziz titled him : The Bayhaqi of the time.
This mastery in fiqh and hadith is apparent in his detailed coverage of the madhahib of ulama and their adillah throughout this tafsir.

There is no muhaqqaq edition of this book available unfortunately. Only the old (bit difficult to use) edition and this beautiful mulawwan edition typed out from the old one.
