الشرح الكبير على العقيدة الطحاوية

We have been fortunate over the last few years, that a large number of shuruh on al-Aqidah at-Tahawiyyah have been printed. These are mainly classical commentaries, with a few contemporary works as well. While these shuruh vary in size and content, they are generally all suitable for beginner/intermediate-level students.

This commentary is different. It would be more suitable for advanced students or teachers of aqidah. Before you start thinking that this must be due to the high-level language used in the book, I should clarify that this isn’t the case at all.
The book is an easy read, much easier than texts like Sharh al-Aqaid an-Nasafiyyah etc.

It is a high-level work due to the content.
The author, Sh Sa’id Fudah, is an accepted master in aqidah and kalam.
While he has authored dozens of works, this is his masterpiece.
He goes into great detail in each issue, discussing the meaning and reality of each tenet, the various views held on it, adillah and tarjih, refuting various classical and contemporary firaq on the matter etc.
He is well known for his refutations of the salafis and this book is filled with discussions into the various views of Ibn Taymiyyah and others on different matters.

If you are a teacher of aqidah or wish to advance your studies, this book is a must for you.
