While al-Fiqh al-Muyassar is a work taught in many madaris, there was a need for a good edition. The muhaqqiq corrected a number of errors, added on beneficial footnotes to explain difficult passages,added on subtitles, made takhrij of the ahadith and even added on Q&A at the end of every chapter, in addition to many other additions and corrections.
