المدخل إلى مصادر المشكاة

Miskat al-Masabih is studied in most of our madaris, however very few take full benefit from it. We come across the names of dozens of books of hadith in it, without every taking the time to learn about these books.

This study, by one who has been teaching Mishkat for over 25 years, not only gathers the names of these sources, but also gives a detailed introduction to each, then often brings the ahadith narrated from them in Mishkat and points out differences in wording and other fawaid.

It is really filled with ilmi fawaid and is a must for those teaching Mishkat and of great benefit to those studying it.

Sh. Muhammad Bara al-Hanbali describes it as:

كتابُ ((سراج الطالب النبيه لكشف مصادر مشكاة المصابيح)) في الحقيقة ليس مُجرَّدَ سردٍ لمصادر ((مشكاة المصابيح))؛ بل جاء الكتابُ سراجًا لكلِّ طالبٍ نبيهٍ أراد أن يتعرَّفَ على أسماء الكتب ومناهجها التي استقى منها الخطيبُ التبريزيُّ أحاديثَه، فذكر المؤلِّف مواليدَ، ووَفَياتٍ، ومكانةَ المؤلِّفين، وخصائصَ كتبهم، وأفرغ جهدَه في كشفٍ تلك المصادر وتعيينها، ثُمَّ نراه قد توسَّع في تراجم بعضٍ الأئمَّة ومؤلَّفاتهِم توسُّعًا مُفيدًا، وقام بتزويد الكتاب بصُوَر المخطوطات والوثائق النادرة، وأتى بفوائدَ وحقائقَ عن كتبٍ كانت تُعتبَرُ في عِدَادِ المفقودات، ثمَّ مَنَّ الله علينا بها، ونرى أنَّ الشيخَ يوسف حفظه الله تعالى له سَبقُ الفضل في هذا الموضوع، والله تعالى أعلم، وعِلمه أتمُّ وأحكمُ.
