Ti'dad al-Muslimin bi-al-'Alam

Taʿdād al-Muslimīn bi-l-ʿĀlam: Taḥlīl Zamanī wa-Jughrāfī mundhu al-Biʿthah al-Nabawiyyah ilā al-Qarn al-Qādim (تعداد المسلمين بالعالم: تحليل زمني وجغرافي منذ البعثة النبوية إلى القرن القادم) is a historical and demographic study of the growth and geographical distribution of the world’s Muslim population, covering the period from the beginning of Islam in the seventh century to projections for the end of the twenty-first century.

The study divides the world into five continents and their constituent regions and modern countries, providing estimates at the beginning of each century from 600 to 2100 CE for the total population of each region or country, the number of Muslims living there, and their proportion of the population. For the modern period, it additionally presents data at each decade from 1970 to 2030. By assembling this information systematically across different periods and regions, the work provides a useful reference for studying the historical expansion, demographic development and changing geographical distribution of Muslims throughout the world.
