It is of extreme importance that a researcher is familiar with the various books in the field of his specialisation. One field, like aqidah for example, could have dozens of sub-fields under it, each with dozens of books authored in it.

This is a valuable work for researchers and a must for madrasah libraries It is arranged in chronological order and tries to cover all the aqidah, mantiq and kalam works in each sub-field.
It sometimes gives a short intro to each as well as publication info if available and at times details of manuscripts found. It also lists works in other languages at times.
