al-Sahabah wa-Makanatuhum 'inda al-Muslimin

The first generation of Muslims were subjected to severe trials and bore tremendous burdens in order to establish this noble religion firmly upon the earth. For this cause, they sacrificed their blood, their wealth, and their homelands, and through these immense sacrifices they attained abundant reward from Allah Most High and the great love of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

However, many of those whom Satan had gained mastery over, and those who had devoted themselves to attacking this great religion, were displeased by the honour accorded to the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They knew that the Companions represented the protective wall of the religion, and that attacking them was a means of demolishing it without commotion. They therefore began to distort their image in the eyes of the people and spread their deviant views concerning the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

This prompted the author to write his treatise on this subject and to title it The Companions and Their Status among the Muslims. The work is divided into two sections and a conclusion.
