Suwar min Hayat al-Sahabiyyat

This book takes us through various aspects of the life of the Muslim woman who lived under the care of the Noble Messenger ﷺ, presenting numerous examples that reflect the upright Islamic way of life which laid down the foundations of women’s rights and duties.

Under its guidance, she gave the pledge of allegiance upon the same matters as the men, and displayed the loftiest examples of sacrifice and giving for its sake.

The qualities of the Muslim woman were not confined to being a believer of firmly rooted faith, and an exemplary wife and mother who raised her children with excellence and patiently sought reward when afflicted. Beyond all of this, she was also a fighter in the path of Allah: she took part in battles, tended wounds, carried provisions, repaired arrows, and poured water into the throats of the thirsty as they gave up their lives in the path of Allah.

This is the life of the Muslim woman in all its loftiness and glory.
