Umar al-Mukhtar

This book presents the life of Shaykh ʿUmar al-Mukhtār from his birth until his martyrdom. It discusses his worship, his recitation of the Noble Qur’an, his courage and generosity, his daʿwah, his jihād before the Italian occupation, his early battles against it, his journey to Egypt to ensure the continuation of the jihād, his methods of supplying the mujāhidīn, his military formations and plans, and his leadership of guerrilla warfare, which became a model to be emulated in resistance to colonialism, along with other glorious and distinguished episodes recorded by this great hero.

Through historical facts, this book demonstrates that the life of ʿUmar al-Mukhtār constitutes a school worthy of study and research from multiple perspectives, including his scholarly, daʿwah, and jihād activities, as well as his lofty moral qualities.
