كتاب الرقائق-البشائر

Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak was the type of person we all need to strive to become and the contents of this book of his are what the ummah requires at this moment.

Allamah Dhahabi said regarding him:

والله إني لأحبه في الله، وأرجوا الخير بحبه، لما أمنحه الله من التقوى والعبادة والإخلاص والجهاد وسعة العلم والإتقان والمواساة والفتوة والصفات الحميدة

Drowned in the love of this world, we are unable to stand up and defend our din, our lands, our honour and even Bayt al-Maqdis.

This is amongst the earliest works authored, with the objective of helping us to turn away from this world and focus on the akhirah. It is filled with ahadith, athar and words of wisdom
