AUTHOR: Walī al-Dīn ibn al-'Irāqī was a scholar of Kurdish descent born in Cairo in 762/1361. He received education from several prominent scholars of his era, eventually earning recognition as an distinguished Shāfi jurist, judge, and hadith expert. Walī al-Dīn authored numerous impactful works spanning various disciplines. He passed away in 826/1423.
