The Heart's Joy in Remembering Laylat al-Qadr

Sharlı al-sadr is a concise and clear summary of the
virtues, events, and timing of laylat al-qadr. It methodically presents 27
schol- arly opinions on its timing, supporting each viewpoint with evidence
from prophetic reports. The book concludes with a reflection on the wisdom of
concealing the exact timing of laylat al-qadr, accompanied by a brief summary
of its signs. 

AUTHOR: Walī al-Dīn ibn al-'Irāqī was a scholar of Kurdish
descent born in Cairo in 762/1361. He received education from several prominent
scholars of his era, eventually earning recognition as an distinguished Shāfi i
jurist, judge, and hadith expert. Walī al-Dīn authored numerous impactful works
spanning various disciplines. He passed away in 826/1423.
