When people face trials and difficulties, regardless of whether these are financial issues, sickness and medical ones or family problems, they often become desperate enough to resort to dodgy and sometimes completely haram solutions.
Some end up getting involved with fake amils and witchdoctors, others run after any quack who claims to offer a cure, sometimes spending huge sums of money in vain.

When Hakim al-Ummah Hadrat Thanwi saw the situation of the masses, he authored this work, containing ayaat and suwar that could be recited in the hope of fulfilling some permissible dunyawi or dini need.
Some are from ahadith, while the majority are through tajrabah. There is no problem in practicing on these, as long as the belief is correct.

This book was authored in Urdu, which restricted its reach.

Mawlana Muhammad Abasoomar had the book translated into Arabic, then added on beneficial footnotes wherein he makes takhrij of the ahadith, points out which a’mal are proven from ahadith and other fawaid.

This is a beautiful high-quality mulawwan edition, printed in Turkey.
