An important resource for an alim is a good work on I’rab al-Quran.
Anyone teaching tarjamah, tafsir or even nahw should have multiple works of this genre in his library.

I’rab al-Quran works could be broadly divided into three categories:
1- Classical works that discuss the i’rab of selected words. Eg. التبيان في إعراب القرآن
2- Detailed Contemporary works that not only cover the i’rab of every word, but go into great detail, discussing ikhtilaf, balagha etc. Eg. إعراب القرآن الكريم وبيانه للدرويش
