When studying Usul al-Fiqh, one often faces challenges, such as:
1. Difficulty in memorising definitions.
2. While memorising nazm is easier, but matching it up with the matn and understanding it properly isn’t always easy.
3. Inability to properly grasp the section in its entirety.
4. Lack of examples.
5. Lack of questions to test your understanding.
6. Utter and total inability to apply these usuls!

While one would normally need multiple aids to address all these issues, this book is the solution to them all!
It is a complete system, designed to teach one usul, based on Subki’s Jam’ al-Jawami’.

How does it work?
It divides the book into small sections, each covering a concept.
For each section it first gives the text of Jam’ al-Jawami’,
followed by the relevant lines from the nazm of the book by as-Suyuti titled al-Kawkab as-Sati’.
Once you have read the text and memorised the nazm, you now turn the page, to find a well-designed flowchart, beautifully depicting the mas’alah, allowing you to easily grasp the concept.
When you are sure that you have now understood it correctly, you move to the questions, designed to test whether you have correctly understood the section.

Once this is done and you have confirmed your understanding to be correct, you go to the last and most detailed portion. This is devoted to examples and application.
Featuring multiple examples, from different sources, this would help you to properly understand the application of this rule.
