This is known as the book on the subject of the soul, authored as a reply to over 20 questions posed to the author. These cover the reality of the soul, the reality of the nafs, are nafs and ruh the same, punishment in the grave, can the dead hear those who visit them and many other important issues.

Each of these are expertly tacked by Ibn al-Qayyim, resulting in this book being widely-accepted and quoted by ulama across the various madhahib. It was highly-praised by Allamah Alusi and many of our Akabir of Deoband.
