اللباب في شرح مختصر القدوري لليزدي

Printed recently for the first time, this sharh of Quduri is by al-Yazdi, an early Hanafi Faqih who passed away in 591 AH. It is different from the famous sharh by al-Maydani.

Each sharh of Quduri possesses certain salient features and characteristics and the feature of this commentary is that the author focusses on presenting the dalil and/or illah for each mas'alah. He does this, while ensuring the book is kept concise and easy to understand.

The book doesn’t seem to have been available to many of our fuqaha, thus it could contain fawaid and adillah not mentioned in other works.

This is a high-quality Beirut print, edited using 5 manuscripts. It is in two volumes. The editor added detailed takhrij for the ahadith mentioned in the book.
