Bulugh al-Thurayya fi Fara'id 'an al-Imam al-Nawawi Abi Zakariyya

A specialized collection of studies by ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥusaynī devoted to rare and lesser-known aspects of the life, writings and scholarly legacy of the great Shāfiʿī jurist and ḥadīth scholar Imām Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī (d. 676 AH). The volume was published by Dār al-Bashāʾir al-Islāmiyyah, with a foreword by Shaykh Dr. Niẓām Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ Yaʿqūbī.

Rather than presenting another general biography of al-Nawawī, the author gathers a series of focused investigations, unusual benefits, textual discoveries and documentary studies concerning the Imam. Particular value lies in the book's use and reproduction of rare manuscript material; the author himself describes it as containing precious documents, foremost among them material preserved in al-Nawawī's own handwriting.
