Sharh al-Arba'in al-Nawawiyyah

A concise annotated edition and explanation of the celebrated al-Arbaʿīn al-Nawawiyyah of Imām Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī (631–676 AH), prepared by Shaykh ʿAlī Aḥmad ʿAbd al-ʿĀl al-Ṭahṭāwī. Imām al-Nawawī’s collection brings together forty-two foundational Prophetic traditions chosen for their comprehensive treatment of the central principles of Islam, with many of the individual aḥādīth regarded as major principles upon which extensive areas of the religion are based.
