While many of us of heard of this book, many are unaware of what it really covers. This amazing work was probably the key to Mawlana Abu ‘l-Hasan an-Nadwi’s widespread acceptance amongst the Arab World. There have been over 60 editions of this great work!

This book is of central conceptual importance in serving as a basis for the revival of the Islamic Civilizations.
It explains the revolution which Islam brought to the world, and how the rise of Islam had beneficial impacts on spreading values of mercy, compassion, justice and tolerance, throughout the world.

Essentially, this book beautifully shows our decline has caused the entire world to lose the huge benefits of the Islamic Value System and it is now suffering from the harms of the Western Systems. The only solution is for us to change the dini condition of the ummah.

The primary benefit of a close study of this work, is that one would lose his awe for the Western system of values and rule and realise the great detriment we are suffering due to having adopted them.

While this is something we should always be trying to convey to the masses and especially to the intellectuals and academics in our communities, there is probably no better opportunity to convince them of this than the current moment.We currently have a situation where the bastions of free-speech and freedom aren’t just stifling these values, but even unleashing goons on their own students, simply due to the students protesting against these institutes and nations supporting genocide. This has opened the eyes of many academics to the double standards and flaws within the system they so ardently support and defend. For any alim with a good relationship with intellectuals and academics, this is the ideal time to engage them on the harms of this system. Strike while the iron is hot.
