معين اللبيب في جمع قصائد الحبيب

The is the Diwan of Ml Habib ar-Rahman al-Uthmani, the vice-rector of Dar al-Ulum Deoband for 27 years and the rector for a year before passing away.
An expert adib, this is a collection of 24 of his poems, which were gathered and originally printed by his famous student, the master adib, Ml I’zaz Ali al-Amruhi.The Diwan starts with a touching nazm titled دعاء المضطر, composed at a time when the Shaykh felt that his sins and their ill-effects were overpowering him, mentioning therein encourage towards turning to Allah ta’ala and good deeds.
It then contains two long poems on the mu’jizat of Nabi sallallahi alayhi wasallam, followed by a number of other poems on a range of different subjects.
