Fazail e Tijaarat (Virtues of Business)

Amongst the last books that were authored by Shaikhul Hadith Hadhrat Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kaandhlawi رَحِمَهُ اللهُ in the series of Fazaail (virtues), was the book titled Fazaail-e-Tijaarat (Virtues of Business).

On the instructions of his late uncle, Hadhrat Moulana Muhammad Ilyaas Saahib رحم الله Hadhrat Shaikh رحمة الله authored this book outlining broad guidelines on aspects of trade and commerce in the light of Islam.

Many years ago this book was translated into English by the late Moulana Yusuf Karan Saahib رحمه الله of Cape Town (May Allah Ta'ala illuminate his grave). Many people read this book and benefited from it. Unfortunately, for many years now this book has been out of circulation.

With the rapid decline in business ethics nowadays, a need arose to re-print this book to enlighten the Ummah on the true spirit of Business in Islam.

Alhamdulillah, it is with the grace of Allah Ta'ala that this book has now been reprinted. May Allah Ta'ala accept it and make it a means of our salvation in this world and the next.
