Khutbatul Ahkam-Waterval

Each Khoetbah is composed of important Shar'iy Ahkaam and Waajibaat which are the object of the Khoetbah.

Included in these Ahkaam are those injunctions related to the Zhaahir (apparent actions and conduct) and to the Baatin (inner qualities). Therefore this compilation encompasses both Fiqh and Tasawwoef while also providing their basis from the Aayaat of the Qur'aan and Ahaadeeth.

Every Khoetbah is substantiated by concise Ahaadeeth. No Khoetbah exceeds Soorah Moersalaat in length. Every Khoetbah is of a similar length. Majority of this compilation's subject matter is taken primarily from Imaam Ghazaali's رحمة الله عليه Ihyaa al Ulum, including its opening Hamd and Salaat alan Nabiy صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Thus, it also possesses the Barakah of Ihyaa and its author.

The explanation of those subjects and injunctions which are lesser known, particularly those related to Tasawwuf are clearly and concisely explained in the footnotes. (We have included these as part of the English translation only)

The concise presentation of the subject matter has been written in such a manner that even a knowledgeable expert would be astonished by its comprehensive scope. Its fluency and standard of language and simplicity of meaning, particularly regarding those sections related to Tasawwuf are as if they were the Matn (text) of Ihyaa itself. These aforementioned excellences are in reality only as a result of the Fadhl of Al-laah Ta-aala and should not be attributed to the author
