It was the desire of Hadrat Maulana Muhammad Idris Sahib to principally put together a Sirah work that will serve to bring out the authentic narrations of the life of Nabi, and not to be affected by the objections of Western and European scholars.

In essence, Hadrat Maulana Muhammad Idris Sahib stood out in his time as a Muhaddith, a Mufassir, Poet and Ascetic. His character was of a very high level, yet he led a very simple life. His life was spent in study, writing and teaching. He loved books to such an extent that he bought any new book that came in the market. He was a cheerful person and was very accommodating to one and all.
