The Muqaddimah Jazariyyah-An English Commentary

This - a commentary on the famous Muqaddimah al-Jazariyyah of Ibn al-Jazari - is the third part in the Murshid al-Qari series. Its discussions are generally simple and basic to facilitate easy comprehension. Some content, however, are by its very nature intricate and there elaboration proved unavoidable. It is, therefore, of utmost importance that students gain a solid foundation by first mastering book one and two before endeavoring to study the present work.

This work also has a biography of the author, Imam Ibn al-Jazari, as well as some links of the commentator to this great scholar. It is presently being taught at Dar al- Ulum al-Arabiyyah al-Islamiyyah in Strand, Cape Town.
